Run for 10, January 13

All over the country, children walk to school, braving unpaved roads, cliffs, and strong currents, and sitting in cramped classrooms. Some of these children study in makeshift classrooms as their schools struggle to recover from devastating typhoons. Others have only education as their defense against poverty and human trafficking. Since its launch to the public last October 2011, TEN Moves has helped address these challenges, as the campaign seeks to build 10,000 classrooms nationwide.

Come 2013, TEN Moves will start the year with a big event, as [it] pushes towards the final 10 months of fundraising efforts. Run for 10 is scheduled on 13 January 2013 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City and proceeds of this run will all go to TEN Moves.  Run for 10 will also have simultaneous runs in key cities and provinces throughout the Philippines. With your help, a ten-peso coin and a pair of running shoes can help make a difference in the lives of thousands of Filipino schoolchildren.  Please  visit Ten Moves for details.
