Both Kenyan winners in the recently held Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon are awarded with a total cash prize of US$ 40,000. That’s a whooping Php 1.7M++ cash prize!
To win this prize, you need to be the first (US$ 20,000 prize), has to break a previous event record (US$ 15,000) so that you can get extra cash as bonus (US$ 5,000).

I witnessed how fast these athletes are during the race. I was still running the first loop and here they are, who whizzed past me, like a speedy car on their way to finish a full marathon. They maintained a pace of 3 min/km. Amazing!
The 30th edition of the Macau marathon had a total 6,000 participants. It was participated by both local and overseas runners from 60 countries. It has a cut off time of 5:00 hours for the 42K and 2:30 hours for the half marathon.
