I witnessed how fast these athletes are during the race.  I was still running the first loop and here they are, who whizzed past me, like a speedy car on their way to finish a full marathon.   They maintained a pace of 3 min/km.   Amazing!

The 30th edition of the Macau marathon had a total 6,000 participants.  It was participated by both local and overseas runners from 60 countries.  It has a cut off time of 5:00 hours for the 42K and 2:30 hours for the half marathon.
