adidas on September 14 unveiled two brand-new additions to the pioneering UltraBOOST family – the UltraBOOST All Terrain and UltraBOOST X All Terrain. Driven by innovation and style, each design is injected with adidas’ ground-breaking technologies including BOOSTTM, the Continental Stretchweb outsole, splash-repellent adidas Primeknit and reflective elements to support and protect each wearer whilst allowing them to experience an effortless run no matter what the weather conditions.

Shatter your excuses with the latest additions to the UltraBOOST family which are designed to empower runners and encourage them to embrace any condition whether rain, hail, darkness or cold. The UltraBOOST All Terrain includes an integrated cage for better support whilst the UltraBOOST X All Terrain, designed specifically for the female foot, includes the pioneering adaptive arch to ensure a better adidas Primeknit fit whilst continuing to add dynamic support, allowing each run to feel effortless.

Stephan Schneider, adidas Running said, “The autumnal weather can be unpredictable and as a result it took us longer than usual to develop these products. Extensive testing ensured that each design element offers protection and uncompromised comfort in any condition. We specifically focused on increasing the ankle height in order to protect and create a smoother movement from the leg into the foot with each stride.”

Key features across both silhouettes include:

  • Splash water-repellent adidas Primeknit upper – breathable fabrics combined with moisture-repellent yarns provide the ultimate fit and unbeatable protection against the ever-changing autumnal surroundings
  • Continental Stretchweb outsole – featuring world-class Continental rubber to increase foot to floor traction on slippery surfaces and enabling a smooth and more flexible ride
  • BOOSTTM midsole – ultra-responsive comfort and cushioning that stores and returns energy every time the foot hits the ground; even when dry, wet or icy
  • All Terrain LUX configuration – a coarse outsole ensuring stable foot to road traction when faced with adverse conditions such as rain or mud

Press Release: adidas holds FitFest, the first and biggest fitness festival for women in the Philippines  

adidas culminates its monthly workouts as it holds on November 13 the adidas Women FitSquad FitFest, a fitness, food, and music festival rolled into one. Over a hundred women come together at the Globe Live Amphitheatre in Bonifacio Global City, to move a step closer towards their fitness goals and give support to other women to become creators.

“adidas Women FitSquad FitFest serves as the fulfillment of FitSquad’s mission to inspire all women, regardless of age, physique, or level of athleticism, to discover their true strength and push their limit, ultimately, to become their fittest and healthiest selves. We know that doing this can pose a challenge, but FitSquad cultivates a strong culture of support,” says Jen Dacasin, Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager, adidas Philippines.

Having an entire day filled with activities ranging from rocket yoga to combat training, FitFest aims to engage all women with unified commitment to fitness. The day starts off with a morning run, followed by a series of fitness activities led by adidas Women influencers Nikki Torres, Ida Paras, and Rachel Que-Love including adidas girls Isabelle Daza, Solenn Huessaff, NT Sweat creator Nikki Torres, Ms. Gold’s Gym 2016 Cassie Umali, Polecats Manila Founder Kayleen Ortiz, and others were there to help empower FitSquad members to achieve their fitness goals.

“It’s surreal to have witnessed FitSquad grow through the months since the start of the year, to what it has become today. Aside from ensuring that we offer quality workout sessions every month, we have always placed collaboration and camaraderie at the core of adidas Women FitSquad. We keep that in mind as we invite everyone – FitSquad members and non-members alike – to join FitFest and be part of a community of women who inspire and empower each other,” shares Dacasin.

While adidas Women welcomes FitSquad non-members to their group with utmost enthusiasm, they celebrate the squad’s first year by awarding its loyal members during FitFest.

Creativity is What Defines Athletes in adidas New Global Campaign

adidas has premiered the new I’m Here to Create (IHC) film series, which kicks off the Sport16 initiative emphasizing the brand’s leadership and passion for sports. It features 15 and 30-second spots for each athlete that debuted online and will air globally in more than 50 countries during key moments including UEFA Champions League, the Grammys, Brit Awards, Oscars among others.

adidas Redefines the Future of Women’s Running and Style with PureBoostX

adidas has teamed up with female athletes from around the world to bring a new running shoe designed with only the female athlete in mind.  The PureBoostX features a floating arch, a first of its kind that hugs the foot and provides support throughout any run. The sleek form-fitting shoe is made to meet the demands of an active lifestyle.

adidas designers studied the female foot and the way it moves by using a state-of-the-art motion tracking technology called Aramis.  The contours of the female foot inspired the design of the shoe’s unique floating arch detail.

The adaptive stretch mesh of the floating arch wraps underneath the midfoot delivering a supportive sensation during every run hence allowing a more comfortable fit that works with the natural movements of the foot.

The stretch mesh upper rests on a full length bed of thousands of energy infused Boost foam capsules. The Boost midsole releases energy more efficiently in every stride and offer more energy return than any other foam cushioning material in the running industry.  The upper floating arch and lockdown lacing system provide an adaptable fit that hugs the foot from heel to toe. The Stretch Web outsole is designed to allow for flex at any point enabling the foot to maintain its natural motion.
